Every year at RISE, we partner with the ministry Operation Christmas Child to collect items for shoeboxes that are sent around the world to children in need. To optimize our impact, we are starting to collect items now! There will be a different suggested donation item each month, but any donations will be gratefully accepted. Look for our new Operation Christmas Child collection bin by the front door. May’s suggested donation is hygiene items. HOWEVER, we cannot accept bars of soap, toothpaste, or liquid items. We will accept things like:
Combs or brushes
Small towels
Toothbrushes
Washcloths
Dental floss
Fun adhesive bandages
