RISE, we’re so excited to tell you about a new ministry! Soles for Jesus collects shoes to send to Africa. Many schools require children to wear shoes in order to attend, and there’s a great need among adults as well.
There are two ways that you can help.
First, you can continually be collecting new and gently worn shoes. We have a collection box underneath the coat rack in the foyer to donate them.
The second way you can help is at the Soles for Jesus warehouse. There is another opportunity coming up for us to serve on Saturday, October 21st from 9 – 11 AM. The warehouse is located on 91st and Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee (8835 W Heather Ave, Milwaukee).
