Soles for Jesus collects new and gently used shoes to send to Africa. Many schools require children to wear shoes in order to attend, and there’s a great need among adults as well.
We are continuing to collect shoes throughout the year. In fact, the organization has expressed a great need for more shoes! Please drop them in the Soles for Jesus box near the front doors OR bring them to the volunteer event.
We’re also excited to tell you about another opportunity to serve at the Soles for Jesus warehouse on Saturday, October 26th from 9 to 11 AM. Please be on time and sign up by Sunday, October 20th to let the Soles for Jesus staff leaders know how many volunteers they will be having.
The warehouse is located on 91st and Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee (8835 W Heather Ave, Milwaukee).
