What denomination is Rise MKE?
RISE is a member church of Converge Worldwide. Converge is an association of churches that stands on the beliefs that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and that salvation is attained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
What do I wear?
Dress in what is comfortable for you, and come as you are! At RISE, we believe that it doesn’t matter what you wear to church. The important part is just showing up! You’ll find everything from casual clothes to the occasional business suit at our gatherings.
What time is service?
Our services are at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM every Sunday morning. You can also join us for our services online via our YouTube channel.
How long is a typical service?
Our services typically last about an hour give or take. Each Sunday includes worship and a message along with time to socialize before and after service. Feel free to come a couple minutes early to grab your seat and a cup of coffee/tea!
Is childcare provided?
Yes. Our nursery is available every Sunday for children ages two and under. RISE Kids meets most Sundays.
What does communion look like at RISE?
Rise MKE extends an "open" Communion, meaning the invitation to receive Communion during a service is open to any follower of Christ, regardless of membership at RISE, denominational affiliation, or spiritual tradition. We aim to celebrate communion once per month. In choosing this interval, we aim to regularly reflect on the incredible sacrifice of Jesus Christ through communion without allowing this blessed ordinance to become “routine”.
